Led Zeppelin are an English rock band who were active in the late 1960s and 1970s. Originally formed as the New Yardbirds in 1968, the band consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham. They are widely considered to be one of the most influential and successful rock groups in music history. Led Zeppelin have influenced many hard rock, punk and heavy metal bands and have been credited with making a major impact on the music industry. Throughout their career they collected many honours and awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. Despite their longevity the group signed relatively few items and as a result any signed Led Zeppelin memorabilia is highly sought after. Led Zeppelin memorabilia such as signed albums command high prices as do concert posters, which are also very rare.

Led Zeppelin Memorabilia - Wanted Items

In recent years interest in Led Zeppelin memorabilia has increased greatly, aided undoubtedly by the group’s re-union concert in December 2007. The group signed extremely few sets of signatures in their ten year plus career, compared to, say, The Beatles and these are extremely sought after nowadays particularly signed albums. There is also a high-level of interest in posters from Led Zeppelin’s concerts. Again, these are relatively thin on the ground and consequently when they do show up they bring in consistently high prices.

Below is a sample of the type of Led Zeppelin memorabilia we are seeking.  Anything rare considered.  Please contact us for a free quote.

Led Zeppelin Signed Birmingham Concert Poster 1
Led Zeppelin Signed Birmingham Concert Poster 2

An incredibly rare fully signed Led Zeppelin concert poster for the group’s performance at the Town Hall, Birmingham which took place on January 7th 1970.

The poster has been signed by each member of the group in blue ballpoint pen. Each signature is extremely clear and bold and can easily be seen on the poster. Drummer John Bonham has signed the poster twice. As both Plant and Bonham both hailed from the Midlands the concert was dubbed a homecoming performance, the gig was also the opening night of Zeppelin's 1970 UK tour. They played a massive two and a half hour set at the venue without a break. The poster comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads, 'To whom it may concern. The autographed poster of the Led Zeppelin concert at Birmingham Town Hall was collected by me on the night of said concert. The two of John Bonham’s were done because when he signed it first he said he did not think it very good so signed it again. He was very friendly and gave away drum sticks, unfortunately I do not have mine. Robert Plant was reluctant to sign as he had already signed a poster and thought I was getting more than one. After a few words he signed and was OK. John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page just signed and said thanks and that was it. The show itself was typical Zeppelin. One point in the show Page spoke about the time he saw the Blues greats at the Town Hall then went on to play mouth harp’.
